Development of private label products and sales to retailers

The most powerful players in the current global economic environment are the retailers. Wal-Mart has become the largest of all companies in the world, but other global retailers, though much smaller in size, are very significant and powerful in their own territories. These global retailers offer excellent opportunities for manufacturers of all kinds of consumer goods.
Experts on Private Label products, also named Corporate Brands or Retailer Brands, believe that strong A brands will always be found in most retail outlets, but there will be shrinking space for the B & C brands: Private Label will take over.

Consumers have learnt to appreciate the value for money of most private label products and the share of private label will continue to increase in the foreseeable future.

The market is huge, but retailers are very demanding with regard to consistent good quality, price, just-in-time delivery, safety etc. Therefore, hands-on guidance is required, and provided by Brands & Scents Consultants to ensure a correct approach. Retailers often allow their suppliers only one chance.
